it’s so exciting

I got an email today that someone had replied to my Hamster Sudoku post. It was so exciting- but I never could figure out how to read it. So, I wrote a note to ask what to do with this information. We’ll see. I’m not a three year old natural.
Well, that’s ok.

And now, I just went back to the email that told me I had a reply. And guess what????? There was the reply. And to think, my friend Ben, who’s 23, gets this in his bones. (When he was 3 he used to come weekly to work on the computer.’) It’s just taking a long time to get to MY bones.

If I ever have time, I want to at least post upcoming events as well as book reviews. That sounds pretty boring. I’ll go think about it for a minute.

Say, did anyone hear about the great dominoe toppling thing going on in Brattleboro tonight?  There were zillions of people there.

I was at a Farmers’ Market meeting, (instead, sob sob, of the dominoe toppling) and boldly announced that I could fix the web page with a few blogs. I guess I’d better get my act together.

Not only for the library, but for the rest of my life.

Hamster Sudoku

So, this week we’re supposed to explore Flickr mashups and third party sites. I’m looking through, and thinking ‘I’m too old for this. I don’t get it. I don’t even want to get it.’ As I scroll down through all this meaningless stuff, I find Hamster Sudoku. And I start playing it! Well, now it’s bookmarked, so I can figure out how to correct mistakes. So, the idea is to mesh your idea with someone else’s. Learning is supposed to be fun. I just have to remember that I’m playing. I always used to say that to parents-playing around with things- and ideas- is how you learn. Hope I can apply that to myself.

The OTHER thing I’m learning is how to use these tabs in Firefox. Not perfect yet, but getting an idea. Sometimes I guess wrong.

Gonna’ try using tags today, or maybe it should be categories, as I read Plloggerr and saw a few things I’m missing.

I will, eventually, get back to the library. I’ll have a blog in What’s Here, and maybe another to supplement programs, maybe. Have to figure that out.

This seems odd. So, what is path, and what is categories? Try things.
